When this was repeated (in 2010 I think) a lot of people on BZ posted it, but everyone seems to have posted mp3 versions because the tool of choice then was RadioDownloader which automatically reencoded as mp3.

My request is for anybody who downloaded the original streams files from Iplayer. It would be in 128kb/s AAC format, probably in an m4a container.

Anyone please? SOMEBODY must have!

This was from Bootlegzone uploaded 2016 at slightly less than mp3 128 kps. Also includes the 1 page forum it came from.

I checked Some Old Interviews 4.0 although they are mp3 128 kps they l trim off the BBC6 start and end jingles.

I don't know if this helps or not.

From my humungous and every expanding 'TBS' folder, the original M4A Iplayer streams from 2010. All present apart from the final episode which appears to have failed half way through.

I downloaded the aacs myself at the time, but didn't realise at the time that listeners outside of Britain were given an inferior 64kb/s stream.

Now, do you have the same for In My Life: John Lennon Remembered?

Yes, unfortunately the version upped has the same episode twice too. I remember they accidentally played the wrong episode and it wasn't till a few weeks later they replaced it with the right one, so I guess whoever grabbed this missed that.
