Always wondered why they only had one Greatest Hits compilation when a lot of lesser acts keep churning them out?

They had a lot of great lps but not a huge number of hit singles. More of an album group with some big hit singles.
Their run of lps from summer breeze, diamond girl, unborn child and I’ll play for you were full of great music throughout. But only a small portion of it was put into 7 inch singles

Summer Breeze is the only one I truly remember. RIP Jim
