I get what the distinction of the half-speed master is... the disc is mastered at half-speed so as to absorb more of the nuance, detail, and dynamic from the master tape. But I've never heard of cassettes from this process. How is this done for the cassette? Is the cassette dubbed from the record mother? I saw the wiki entry for MFSL. But I'm still a little puzzled how this translates to cassettes for audiophiles.
