For crying out loud!
Bat Out Of Hell LP was released during my last year in high school.
Paradise In A Ford Mustang
A great time for me!
Meatloaf was part of the soundtrack.

In the early 80s, I was a radio DJ at a small station where I was the only person in the building at night. This was in the vinyl and turntable days. Paradise by the Dashboard Lights was my go to when I needed to step away long enough to drop a deuce. That, and Free Bird.

I saw Meatloaf on the Bat of Hell II tour. Great stage presence. R.I.P.

While I like his music, and have some of his albums and singles, after having read online that he was a rabid anti-vaxxer, COVID denier and conspiracy theorist, I can't be too sad that he is no longer with us. On Reddit, he has earned his Herman Cain award. It's not going to change how much I love "Paradise By The Dashboard Light," which might be one of the best records ever made (no small thanks to Todd Rundgren). He died of the thing he said doesn't exist.

Meat Loaf showed us that there was some great music in the late 70's. Bat Out of Hell was one of the eternal rock and roll albums.

Sorry to hear he was an anti-vaxxer. Still love his appearance in Rocky Horror Picture Show.
