The DECCA Tape [Ultimate Edition] 60th Anniversary [closed]

60 years of DECCA tapes! (v2)

Time to present them again (in stereo)!

Many versions have already been presented here (Lord Reith, Paul62 and others, including myself).
My fingers were itching to try again.

The last audio source I used was Yellow Dog, but it was a poor choice. Now I've resorted to RMW and I think that's the best source.
Only in "Take Care" did I fix two passages ('please' and 'once upon a time'). Small dropouts could always be heard here.
In addition, hissing sounds had to be eliminated.
Now I'm completely satisfied with one of my favorite albums!

THIS IS AN UPGRADE (22.01.22)

Thanks khundalini, nice mix! But no thanks for using Mega; track 7 won't download. This I discovered after the zip option failed as well.

Ah, but I only posted a few tracks that were experimental in nature...!!!

I don't think any mix (or remix), whether it is done by a well-paid professional or by a hard-working amateur, can ever be considered the only one worth having. They are all equally valid.

Still working on my stereo version of Yellow Dog YD061 (and I have a cool cover prepared by unwantedman to go with it), so don't write me off just yet...!!! :D

(I remember you had trouble logging in at my board when you joined up: you really should try again (PM me if you are still having trouble)).
