I notice on Amazon, this release is only listed as DVD. Does anyone know for sure if there will be a Bluray?

The Blu-Ray version is for sale on thebeatles.com online store, as well as other retailers, such as Walmart and Barnes & Noble, where I pre-ordered it. Apple and/or Disney have apparently chosen to not sell the Blu-Ray version with Amazon, at least at this time.

THE BEATLES site, in the poorly written description, seems to indicate the Imax version is exactly the same cut that was used in the Disney series:

" The concert, which features in its entirety in Peter Jackson’s original docuseries “The Beatles: Get Back,” will be optimized for IMAX screens, digitally remastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience® with proprietary IMAX DMR® (Digital Remastering) technology. "

I'll be staying home next Sunday.

Who would have thought the Disney showing was the end, not the beginning, of this project?

I saw an add for a DVD set that pictured 6 discs...2 + 2 + 2
So, The Beatles : Get Back only lasted 3 seasons.
I don't own any Blu Ray. Why would the Blu Ray ads show 3 discs?
Is the video resolution that much better(or, will an 8-hr movie fit on 1 disc)?
