The Beatles_TS and VOB files

Can someone explain to me what the process is to get downloads converted to MP4 when the download is a TS folder containing DVD video files? I have Handbrake, which I believe can do the conversion. Thank you.

Use the open folder command and choose the video TS folder.

I am using "Wondershare UniConverter13" (Mac) and it is very reliable. Plus you can use it to download audio nd/or video from YouTube (and some other similar sites).
It is not a free app but it does the job.

I found a software programme on an old external drive called 'DivX' - is this similar?

DivX is still about so you can get the latest version from divx.com
It's really for avi format but may do other...

Which of these programmes will convert the files and merge as one output.
