After awhile we were still waiting for the big one so that became CT-11, another comp with maybe a few new things. It included an online preview of 2 tracks from the new set.

All these sets were great, thanks Magoocus :D Robert
Thank you, Robert(beatlesnyttigt) for the 5 re-ups(ct18-ct22) of these great Magoocus curios! I had never seen any of them before.

Thank you, Mrbeatleg, for that amazing list of Magoocus titles!
Invaluable info!
magoocus wrote: Sat Apr 09, 2022 2:35 pm Here is CT-16 Son of Dexter from 2016 or so, where I tried some mono to stereo experiments using compression. Helter Skelter take 2 worked the best. A few other mixes thrown in. This method was abandoned when the new spectral editors like UVR started showing up.
Awesome! I just listened to ct12. It is a very worthwhile surprise! I especially appreciate knowing that you couldn't sit still due to Deluxe Anticipation...so, you created three relevant versions to keep yourself occupied in the interim! You're my kind of fisherman!
Thank you, for helping us catch up.
Sincerely,

CT-13 Cudda Wudda Shudda was done around the time Pepper Deluxe came out, maybe just before. A Revolver comp, it duplicates a couple tracks from elsewhere & includes some stuff that will be on the ongoing Revolver day by day set. There are 2 covers for some reason.

In 2018 we were waiting for the White Album Deluxe so I did 2 sets in anticipation for that one, each a single disc but with all of the songs. Some tracks new, some familiar outtakes.

CT-14 White Stuff:

The Beatles
White Stuff

A little preview while we're waiting for the new deluxe set.

01 Back in the USSR - a mix from the LOVE isolated channels with two (or all 3) of the rhythm tracks split left-right. Probably John on Bass VI on the left because he misses the last note; most likely Paul on bass on the right.
02 Dear Prudence - vocals mogg tweaked
03 Glass Onion - RM2 synced to stereo
04 Obladi Oblada - vocals centered
05 Wild Honey Pie - isolated right channel
06 The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill - from taperfriendman's Anthology Revisited
07 While My Guitar Gently Weeps - tweaked extras mogg with Paul's piano and leakage of live instruments;
Paul sings along
08 Happiness is a Warm Gun - Esher demo ant itunes lossless
09 Martha My Dear - best vocal isolation
10 I'm So Tired - from taperfriendman's Anthology Revisited
11 Blackbird - early rehearsal with Congratulations
12 Piggies - ant itunes lossless plus voices for sound effects
13 Rocky Raccoon - ant itunes lossless
14 Don't Pass Me By - ant medley
15 What's the New Mary Jane - take 2; this song was part of the album until the last 24-hour mixing
session; placement here is just a guess as to where it might have been in the original running order
16 why don't we do it in the road - new left channel isolation
17 Los Paranoius - full version
18 Julia - ant itunes lossless
19 Birthday - reconstruction of basic take from mogg
20 Yer Blues - left channel isolation with original guitars & "guide" vocals
21 Mother Nature's Son - HSR remaster of peter sellers tape with missing lead guitar
22 Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me and My Monkey - HSR remaster of peter sellers tape
23 Sexy Sadie - monitor mixes of Georges' argument
24 Helter Skelter - take 2 in fake stereo
25 Long Long Long - best vocal mix (George 3 vocals)26 Revolution 1 - take 20 faded at 5 minutes
27 Honey Pie - best vocal isolation
28 Savoy Truffle - vocals centered
29 Cry Baby Cry - best mix to hear the 2nd drum track (centered - drum overdub on the right)
30 Revolution 9 - selection of reconstructed loops played forwards
31 Good Night - ant medley

The Beatles
Tuba Or Not Tuba - That Is The White Album
or... Who's On Bass No. 9

The White Album Deluxe comes out tomorrow and we can't stand the wait! It's driving us crazy! Even after all the previews... none of which are included on this disc because they're all lossy. This collection has a few new things but most of the older material has been tweaked a bit.

01 Back in the USSR - Best isolation of first rhythm track from LOVE 5.1 front channels
02 Dear Prudence - early alternate mono mix from Trident with the fade-out faded up, from the Au Revoir disc
03 Glass Onion - from the Ampex reel-to-reel
04 Obladi Oblada - take 5 re-centered
05 Wild Honey Pie - best isolation of the first(?) vocal
06 The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill - esher demo from RMW outfaked to stereo
07 While My Guitar Gently Weeps - tweaked drums mogg with live instruments in the background; John on organ in the middle 8's
08 Happiness is a Warm Gun - Anthology 5.1 vocal mix crossfaded into tuba (if that's really a tuba)
09 Martha My Dear - more tuba
10 I'm So Tired - mono mix with louder Paul vocal
11 Blackbird - early rehearsal with piano, presumably John
12 Piggies - best vocal isolation
13 Rocky Raccoon - esher demo from RMW outfaked stereo
14 Don't Pass Me By - Ampex reel-to-reel
15 why don't we do it in the road - Ampex reel-to-reel
16 I Will - take 1 plus intro
17 Julia - single-tracked vocal and guitar
18 Birthday - drums moggs 1+2 stereo split after oopses
19 Yer Blues - Ampex reel-to-reel
20 Mother Nature's Son - Ant iTunes lossless
21 Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me and My Monkey - center channel of Ant 5.1 mix does not have the helicopter sounds, fades into the LOVE 2016 pre-show
22 Sexy Sadie - RM5 from Au Revoir in outfaked stereo
23 Helter Skelter - a couple of the moggs tweaked to bring out the backing vocals and "horn section"
24 Long Long Long - compressed to simulate what the original Capitol LP may have sounded like
25 Revolution 1 - guitar and organ overdub from Chaos tape
26 Honey Pie - Esher demo from RMW in outfaked stereo
27 Savoy Truffle - compressed to simulate Capitol
28 Cry Baby Cry - Ampex reel-to-reel (you can't take me back)
29 Revolution 9 - a few effects and voices from the later session maybe
30 Good Night - remix from Anthology plus intro

Thanks for sharing all your great work with us, Magoocus. The little notes about what and why and when are also perfect for putting these collections in context!
