All tracks remixed and remastered from the Japan Toshiba-EMI CD (TOCP-51118).

I don't have a lot to say other than this was an absolute joy to remix. There is so much great music buried in the original mix and it was great to see it shine. I read a lot about the 2017 remix and how much sound quality was reportedly lost between the multitracks and the final LP master. I'm not so sure. I think this sounds just fine. I did begin evaluating the 2017 remix, but I found it filled with artificial bass and compression. It doesn't feel nearly as organic as the original. I may return to that set at some point to work on the outtakes though.

After commenting on your Australian LP remixes I saw these and checked them out.

The problem with the stem software artifacts is not nearly as bad here, but it's still there. Watch the DAW meters during fadeouts. Instead of dead silence you'll see and hear a low-level rumbling/hissing.

Again, some housekeeping before presentation would have made these more impressive. Now I've got 4 copies of this LP to fix for my collection

PS: As khundalini mentioned on the other thread, the channels are reversed here as well.

I always recommend the remix. The remaster offers a different sound, but I prefer the original mastering.
