I think "New Blue Soap" is not to much diffused, but the important thing is to agree.
Whether it is 2001 or 2007, we must all agree on which criteria to use.
Please, give us more opinions and so we will choose the most profitable criteria

My vote is for the 2007 DDSI/New Blue Soap numbering as it is the most recent and therefore most complete.

(Although apparently we'll have to move the Oh Darling rehearsals from the 14th to the 15th now.)

Stick with the newest update - 2007. If you want to reference AB Road, make a cross reference chart.

I PROPOSE WE ONLY USE THE REFERENCE DOUG SULPY 2001, WHICH MATCHES THE PURPLE CHICK RECORDS.

Enriquelu

And what happens if one does not have this book to follow along with? Or indeed, the Purple Chick set?

If we all want to speak the same language, it is necessary to unify criteria regarding the numbering of the different performances.

Enriquelu

Start a new numbering system from scratch. If it is for the sole purpose for members on this forum to "understand each other" regarding the material, it won't be achieved if you don't have the book for reference.

+1 for 2007. Not sure why we would go back to 2001.

If anyone listened to the nearly 4 hour Interview with Peter Jackson
He thinks about 40 Nagra Rolls are missing & not bootlegged,
he say's that's about 10 Hours...
He found out Apple had some Safety Copies, for 3 hours, so 7 hours are still Missing

He is a Huge Fan of the Beatles...
The 3 Part Story was supposed to be no more than 6 hours,
but He did what he does best....another 100 minutes...lol
He think they could been missing before 1971, but no one knows at this time
He also chatted a little about
Allan Williams & the Acetate Of Beatles & Lu Walters

Peter Jackson, has every Video & Audio Digitized,
from all of the Tapes for Future Use for Apple's Use

Unless Doug decides differently, 'New Blue Soap' & Doug Sulpy's 2007 DDSI...should be the Norm,
more stuff on New Blue Soap, compared to Purple Chick & others...
Like a puzzle, he somehow got them coordinated

When we did A Is For Apple Vol. 2 a couple of years we also relied on Doug's DDSI numbering system. But I think we were the first authors to realize that some recordings attributed to 15 January are in fact from 16 January. So any numbering for 16 January using the DDSI system is technically wrong. With the plethora of new mixes and 8 track recordings available to us, I think it would be wise to create a new numbering system which not only mentions the day, the song number but also the source (Nagra, multitrack, 2021 deluxe, PJ Get Back).

8-) I was checking https://getbacksessions.blogspot.com/p/ ... ences.html and found that Disk 4(Glyn Johns Mix) has an error on track 07 For you blue compared to Blue Soap numbering. The web page indicates 25.46, but Blue Soap numbering indicates 25.46 and Blue Soap.47. Or is it a mistake by New Blue Soap numbering ? :?:
