Will it get a cheaper softback release? Or will we all be swinging pigs?

or 'booklegged'

Which used to happen in Shakespeare's day, when printed, bound 'folios' of his plays were hugely expensive. People would attend his plays and write down the actors' lines throughout the performance, to be printed up unofficially and sold later.
More 'piracy' than 'bootlegging' but there's nothing new under the sun...

$150??? For a book??? Does it even mention The Complete Beatles Anchovies Vol. 1?

So anyway, by my recollection, TMQ aka TMOQ was founded and run by two guys named "Dub" Taylor and Ken Douglas with illustrative contributions from Ken Stout. Now your claim about the book is:
The DEFINITIVE book on the TMQ history, written by Mr. TMQ himself with various contributions.
However the book is not written by Taylor or Douglas. It is attributed to Ralph Sutherland and Harold Sherrick (with illustrations by Stout). Does anybody else see something not quite right about this? Sure, the story is a fascinating one albeit one that's already been covered over and over on the internet and the fabulous book "Bootleg: The Secret History of the Other Recording Industry" written by Clinton Heylin which cost waaaaay less than $150. Here's a copy on E-Bay for only 10 US Dollars (+ $4.01 for shipping):

Also on Amazon, the price starts at $6.67:
https://www.amazon.com/Bootleg-Secret-H ... 669&sr=8-1

In short, I really wish I could afford a book on this story (it really is a fascinating one) but it comes down to being very poor financially. Also, the authorship claim is misleading unless "Dub" Taylor (usually the tapist of the two) is one of the two names mentioned in the link under a different name. I hope I didn't come off as a jerk, I just had such a price tag sticker shock moment that I spit my coffee out and felt compelled to respond.

It's a lot of money for a book that dos'nt give any mention how many pages it has or what the actual size of it is???
