BBC sessions help

Newbie just joined last week and The admin sent me a link to the new BBC Archives but I tried to download and it crashed my computer

can somebody please help with a trade instead?

Crashed how? During download or playback? As long as you have disk space there should not be any issues like that to deal with…

I can relate to this. Mega often crashes my browser. It's to do with the way it uses a massive amount of memory to decrypt the files.

I found that by using a different browser, or making sure I'm not in "incognito mode" I can get through sometimes.

It also throws up download caps, but the way around that is to sign OUT of Mega and load the page again through a VPN. It then won't know who you are and the data cap will vanish.

Sorry it's such a pain but all the file hosts have issues.

Using something like Jdownloader helps tremendously!

IMO if Mega downloads crash the browsers or, even worse, the computers, then it makes sense to have a look at the system, like, which processes eat how much resources, when idle and when downloading something. It should not be like this under the normal operating conditions.
