I'm looking for any early period 1969-1972 Ringo Boots. Especially Sentimental Journey and Beaucoups of Blues sessions. In the booklet for the Japan CD release of SJ, it states George Martin gave to Ron Goodwin a mono demo of Whispering Grass. Has this ever surfaced?

Don't expect too much, though. All versions are very similar to the final released versions (apart from The Wishing Book that is an unreleased track).
There is a bootleg, whose name I can't remember, where there is a guitar/voice rehearsal of "Fastest growing heartache in the west". Probably the most interesting recording available from these sessions.

And there's also a track, "Stormy weather" from the Sentimental Journey sessions on this bootleg :
