BBC stereo Melvin disk 3 (& links to 1 & 2)

Admit it, folks, you lay awake at night wondering if you'll ever hear the theme to "Side By Side" in stereo! Well, that day has come. We must wait God knows how long to hear the 28-minute "Helter Skelter," but our fondest Fab Four desires have come true (kidding, of course!). Here's disk three of Melvin's BBC sessions in stereo. This one provides more from 1963, ending with the last-aired show of 12-26-63. One note: The 9-10-63 take of "She Loves You" was aired again on 9-24. But a different bunch of chat surrounds it each time. The Melvin disk, "Lend Me Your Comb," includes the 9-10 airing and the accompanying chat. It was necessary to repeat the song here because the chat spills over into the introduction of the next track, "Ask Me Why." As usual, play loud and enjoy!!
