These are likely from minidiscs...
So probably technically lossy, I would love to have Mrbeatleg's rips because of the integrity of the set. I don't see any improvement in incorporating some of Mrbeatleg's into the old set, but some hodge podge potentially creating more headache.
I totally agree with you. It would be nice if Mrbeatleg would re-up the whole kit.

In the mean time...

I happened to re-read this whole (quite long) thread and I saw you uploaded volumes 10-12 to correct some crackles.

Can you re-up these 3 volumes please?

Thanks for your very instructive inputs here.

I finally installed Spek on my Windows virtual drive on my Mac and I checked these 3 volumes, unfortunately they are all lossy.

While the original ones (still talking about volumes 27, 28 and 30) posted here on September 9 by MrP (original files dated January 2015) are lossless according to Speck.

Yes but it does not run with the recent macOS Big Sur, you cannot even install it...

So like EAC and Snap2HTML who both run only in Windows, I installed Spek on my virtual drive.

And they all work perfectly, except I have to start Parallels Desktop then Windows each time I need the.

It reminds me of my working days as a CPA. Almost no accountants here in Canada work with Mac and there are absolutely no professional accounting or tax software working on Macs. So my Windows was running almost all day long for business purposes...

Yeah, CDRTRADE's are acceptable replacements for what we had, which is lossless for the larger part, but it's full of errors full errors is full err err err, some audible/inaudible/visible. Who knows how many there are undetected. Lossy or not (I tend to prefer lossy in that case  because that's what I thought DBD should be like) - Mrbeatleg's seem error free and come from a very well known and respected source and not somewhere 'off the internet'. So please Mrbeatleg, your help would be greatly appreciated, but if it's too much of a hazzle I would completely understand. Ripping 76 discs isn't a matter of minutes and time is quite some precious thing.

here's some timelines i found interesting of where this set has been uploaded:

hxxps://www.guitars101.com//threads/want ... ac.190428/

no details wether it was silvers or eg FLACs on multiple DVD-Rs (like the old days)

searching thru my reference with just had the thread titles only i found these postings:

missing volumes 2, 6 and 21 were filled by Innerlight
i had the 2 pages of the thread but it was straight forward.
this is the thread i got my downloads which had some reading issues. as previously discussed

The Beatles - Day by Day sessions (YELLOW DOG 2000) MP3 (320
BZ - posted august 2016 - by henk0811 - 41 replies - no further info

The Beatles - Day By Day 38 volumes (76 cd set) Flac
