DESS Collection Complete [?] The Missing Titles.

Ignoring the dozens of tweak and audio variations of which there are too many to even contemplate trying to collect them all.

Here is a working list, which I'll add to, as I work through BeatlesVI's excellent share; of titles, you may or may not wish to lookout. I will help where I can with verified copies if I'm not beaten to it.

Beatles Greatest (Dutch Lp - pre-1971 Pressing) - DESS withdrew this audio in 2005 for being LQ. 2005-2007 releases used the German Audio

Plastic Ono Band ( US Pressing) 2 audio versions available as the result of a pressing error. MFSL rather than Apple [MFSL has complete Intro Hold on Me]

There supposedly other Dr Ebbetts releases according to a site called Jagamart. They are not Needledrops so it's very suspicious. Anyone have memories of these?

Yellow Submarine Mono Songtrack (A compilation of alternate mixes, not like Dr Ebbetts at all.)

New Years Day (Seems to be a repackaged version of The Decca Audition.)

Buffalo Springfield Collection (A Needledrop of a Buffalo Springfield album)

Beatles Greatest

Germany has Hi Hat Intro of All my Loving
Netherlands: All My Loving is without the Hi-Hat Intro

Great upload!

After downloading, I checked the files against the listing at http://www.drebbetts.com/catalog/ and didn't find "VJ 1092 Songs, Pictures And Stories Of The Fabulous Beatles" in the downloads. VJS 1092 is in the downloads and the cover art is correct (it is clearly a stereo recording). There is some confusion as the CUE/log/m3u file names suggest that it is VJ (which is mono).

Yellow Submarine (PMC 7070) from the UK Mono albums appears to be missing.

In any case, thanks for the music!

Hello Beatles VI,
Unfortunately I'm not an expert and I have some doubts about this subject.
Can you or someone explain to me the differences between The Beatles UK Albums, The Beatles MSFL Albums and Archive Series collections and which of them we can find the mixes that are closest to the mixes of the 60s?
Maybe I'm saying something nonsense but as I said I'm not an expert and I need help.
Thanks in advance.

Pre Apr 2006 there was no difference in the audio between UK stereo and MFSL, with the UK Stereo was just an artwork variation.

Wef Dec 2005 The Blue Box Stereo rips were slowly phased in

2008 role out of MFSL upgardes

Feb 2010 virgin first pressings were used for the new Archive Series

Which is closest to the 60's mixes. This is very much a subjective matter.

Excuse my ignorance
So which ones are essential downloads and which ones should be left alone.
I always get confused with all these Dr Ebbetts versions and wonder whether the ones that are not legit are just taking up hard drive space.
cheers.

Did Ebbetts never do a Star Club release?

That's odd... you think he would've done the 1977 album.
