I had to laugh when I noticed at the bottom of a post I was reading:

I see Bing is lurking with me now.
Wouldn't it be better if we weren't exposed to these bots?

The bots were part of the BZ forums too, so they're not new, but it's an interesting question.
The forums are able to grow with users finding us through the search engines. I've noticed that more private forums tend to get a bit stale without consistent user growth.
I'm open to community feedback though as the bot permissions can be restricted in various ways.
