It's amazing we're getting to hear this so soon after the discovery. The tape could so easily have got into the wrong hands and never been heard again, except in tiny snippets (some with voiceover).

I remember being excited when the Star Club LP came out in 1976, it was new product from the Fabs. This is just as great, and thanks.

Even in this rather posh setting, you can hear what it was that drove teenagers absolutely insane in 1963. Amazing!

OMG, this is amazing. What a find. Can't wait to hear the whole show.Lord Reith wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 8:27 am Here's The Hippy Hippy Shake (AI version):

Like I said, shades of Litherland 1961, when the curtains opened and Paul unexpectedly launched himself full tilt into Long Tall Sally. This is exactly what it must have been like. And I love George's solo! Pure rock and roll.
And yes, you're right, a really straight forward guitar solo by George.
But why does an audience always clap at "one" and "three", and not at "two" and "four"?
I always thought only Germans do this, but now I learned that even in good ol' England, where the best music in the world comes from, they clap at "one" and "three". WHY???

I've been able to hear the original Mono recording but does anyone have the full AI remixed version (disc 2)?

Why does the snippet of Memphis, Tennessee from the BBC seem signifcantly higher fidelity? Here with similiar EQ: BBC & EVSD back to back.

Thanks a lot! Presumably this is the original recording, not the AI-enhanced version?silver_2000 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 4:58 pm Kitsu already leaked this, not saying that in a judgey way, good on him!
