Should be The Beatles Second Albumyymca6 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 04, 2022 10:12 pmOn which album is it?jpgrcat007 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 04, 2022 9:32 pm Dave Dexter JR-r's Remix of Fake stereo Mix of 'She Loves You' is the best sound
Maybe 62-66 Red Album...<-----(doubtful)
All stereo is fake for SLY. How odd that Capitol didn't see fit to compile an American equivalent to A Collection Of Beatles Oldies. She Loves You is only on The Second Album and possibly some Starline 45s from mid 80s.

I never heard of the Second Album being remastered by Dexter. I thought he only did Rubber Soul and I would be surprised he was still around when the 1962-1966 compilation came out.Kwai Chang wrote: ↑Mon Sep 05, 2022 12:27 amShould be The Beatles Second Albumyymca6 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 04, 2022 10:12 pmOn which album is it?jpgrcat007 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 04, 2022 9:32 pm Dave Dexter JR-r's Remix of Fake stereo Mix of 'She Loves You' is the best sound

The US version does add even more excitement to the record, but I wouldn't really have that as my default version.

The Fool On The Hill
I wonder if anybody noticed the tape ramp up on the flute overdub at the start of the record. Wrrrp!

Now that we have better technology, are we able to settle once and for all the She Loves You/ Sie Liebt Dich conspiracy theory that they did not re-record the rhythm track at Pathe Marconi in Paris.

They definitely did rerecord SLD because all the parts are different to SLY. The bass line is subtly changed, there's a cymbal crash near the end that isn't on SLY, George's lead breaks are different.

There's that one website that claims the backing tracks are from the same sessions but if people want to believe that nonsense that's their problem.
