Is this the speed you want it at? Also, I still hear a bit of guitar overdub at 3.4 seconds, and the cymbals are a little swishy. I'd really love to keep it because we need somewhere to put the count-in and guide vocal.
I am fairly sure now that that's not actually accurate. I think that the basic was really just the one track of bass, guitar and snare and that the solo drums with the count in are actually overdubbed.
I think you can hear the basic track in the LFE channel of the 5.1 mix: drums, rhythm guitar and bass.
Like here, at the very start:

Also, I can hear only one guide vocal, and it appears to be Harrison's.

Thinking about the drums... if you listen the Rock Band multitracks, apart from an artifact-y overdub on them (coming from the guitar track being CEDARed and then put on the drums stem), I can't hear any other instruments bleeding through.
Rock band merges both rhythm tracks into mono. They double tracked the live basic track with a very similar performance of the same instruments.

Too bad...
The Rock Band stems were a goldmine, but sometimes they messed up things quite badly (I know it was for gaming purposes, but come on...).

I'm fairly sure I can get the authentic live basic track, too. It's just tricky.

Maybe we need both? The live track, and whatever state it was in when the count-in and guide vocal were audible.

I always thought it sounded like a sped-up Paul.

Question re: volume 6,

I noticed That Means a Lot in the vintage mixes folder is mainly the Anthology 2 version with the stereo reverb. Does that mean the claim about the right channel being the unaltered RM1 isn't true?

Holy shit! this mix is fantastic csnyfan ! :o I think that I will reburn White For Fun! now...
"Sexy Sadie" with piano has always been a favorite; the piano makes me think of what David Bowie will do later with "Lady Stardust" (it even influenced (the melody) of Karma Police)
Where does the end comes from ? :?:
And oddly enough the electric guitar lick near the very end reminds me John's electric guitar on his early demos of "It's Not Too Bad/Strawberry Fields Forever".

Can you do something with the Booker T. Steve Cropper-guitar-like early rehearsal of "Cry Baby Cry" on the SDE ? This is one of my favorite studio outtake of the set.

Not sure what to do with that, seems just fine.

This is my favorite thread. The music, discussion and new mixes are even more White Album Fun.
