“John & Yoko: A New York Love Story” Photographs by Allan Tannenbaum December 8, 2010

This is a video I made in 2010 for a local TV station. It features photographs by Allan Tannenbaum during the opening night of the exhibit at the Everhart Museum in Scranton, Pennsylvania on December 8, 2010.

The exhibition was called John & Yoko: A New York Love Story. The first segment is the photographs. I used the John Lennon demo of “Now and Then.” This was a buzz free version that had been released the previous year by His Master’s Choice on a 2009 CD called “At Home” (HMC 008.)

The second segment is the autograph session with Allan. I used an alternate mix of “A Day In the Life” the source of which I can no longer remember.

The last segment is an informal Q&A with Allan.

It was a memorable night. Allan was very personable and it was a thrill to see his beautiful photographs on the walls of our local museum.

If you take the time to watch it I hope you enjoy it!
