Re: The Beatle Years (Westwood One)
I remember back when I was young and first starting to get into the history, this was the show I would listen to every Saturday morning... on 100.7 WZLX, and I remember also listening to Beatle Brunch around that time too on 103.3 WODS... now, it's whatever it is while ZLX is still broadcasting classic rock. Awesome memories. Thank you for this share!!!!

You sound like you're in my neck of the woods. I also listened to the Beatle Brunch on oldies 103. I think I may have a few of those shows also somewhere on cassette.bsizzy_27 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 24, 2023 9:00 pm I remember back when I was young and first starting to get into the history, this was the show I would listen to every Saturday morning... on 100.7 WZLX, and I remember also listening to Beatle Brunch around that time too on 103.3 WODS... now, it's whatever it is while ZLX is still broadcasting classic rock. No announcement. No warning. The show just changed. I was disappointed that all the outtakes, concerts, and demos were no more. I stopped listening after a couple weeks of this. I think KLSX stopped airing it after a few years, too.
Thanks all the same, though. As I am somewhat of an archivist/historian, these definitely have a place. I may even give a few of them a listen.
Sheeedoobie!
Oops!
A little bit of heaven 94.7?
I'm not sure if it matters but it couldn't get more convenient. I'll worry about liking it later!
I'm as fuddy-duddy as L.A. Radio has ever been and the big beat! L'America!
In case my vision leaves the building before I do!
Thank you, Mrbeatleg!
It's not a risk.
It's just a matter of time.

The sound quality is meh. But it sure brings back memories....
