I love graphic arts, too.
The Beatles(generally, not just album covers, not just photos) caused me to realize appearance and styling are two different things.
In that context, may I proffer that I consider the Washington concert in Feb. 1964 by The Beatles, to be the most important event ever filmed. Much bigger than a movie I've only ever heard about from a genre that isn't even American or British. If I wanted the maximum effect on a piece of paper or as an digital image, I would have used only pictures Washington concert and made the title The Wild Beatles or or The Wild Night or don't change the title. Just quote something from that night...Like the date! The location...Maybe the closed circuit jive!
Now there's a poster I could want to actually pay money for(if I still collected posters)
The Wild Bunch (The movie) is a movie I wouldn't watch regardless of who's playing at the coliseum on Feb. 11, 1964.
That date, would get my attention ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, ANYway!
