Sorry for the mix up. I re-recorded side 2 and it now has the gibberish at the end.

Just delete the original Side 2 download and replace it with this one.

Thank you for the new correction..
I might also say that it's also better, because on the previous one I could hear the turntable vibrating/shaking around 19.14-19.15, due to you probably walking around on the floor!

Since 2003, I had this Program: Cool Edit 2.1, which I used to split the
2 Pete Best Albums, & 20 BBC Radio Shows

It taken me approximently 30 minutes each for each Pete Best Album
& an hour for Top Of The Pops, or 2 hours for Saturday Club

Cool Edit, I put the Long Track in & use my ears & the Magifier on the program,
& carefully cut out silence, between the tracks, especially when they fade

First, Mrbeatleg, another round of thanks is in order for your extreme generosity! This is a fine, rare addition to our collections.

Now, I always do this for myself for these types of rips: I split the tracks, manually remove any huge clicks, trim the tops right to where the audio starts, gently fade the tails to digital silence and normalize (not compress, EQ, etc.).

This way I have the vinyl sound without the vinyl experience!

Here's an example of the Please Please Me LP from this upload with my treatment as above. If you like it and Mrbeatleg approves, I can provide the rest as well:

(I did not re-upload the artwork.)

BTW, here is a nice summary of all of the PPM releases:

Thanks a lot for this.

I hope Mrbeatleg approves and gives you a green light for this project.

Thank you once again, so glad you approve! I'll post more shortly.

BTW, I just discovered a trick for effective click removal in Audacity:

Select the tiny click sample while zoomed way in, choose Effect>Repair. Only practical for the worst clicks, otherwise lots of work. The Click Removal effect didn't work for me.
