I can't add to the possible numbers that these were pressed in....1000 or 2000, but I do know these were manufactured on request from 2 of the major importers here in the states to help them with overstock of the individual mono re-issues Parlophone/EMI released in 1982. So the LP's included in those boxes are from the same run as the mono LP's that were first re-issued and imported to the US in 1982.
The pressing of Rubber Soul in that box should have the same stampers as the sought after -5/-5. At least that was the case with my individual 1982 mono pressing prior to the mono boxes being issued.
I think the debate over the 1000 or 2000 might have to do with both the black box and the red box that were issued at the time. There are so many different opinions and reports out there as to how many were actually made.
Nice to have all those mono pressings in one place and in excellent condition, thanks for sharing these.
