So, if you had to make a whole album of the worst Beatles songs, what would you put on it? Here is my tracklist:
1.Revolution 9
2.Wild Honey Pie (An extended mix to make it even more worse)
3.Maxwell's Silver Hammer (The version with John singing it from the Get Back Sessions)
4.What's The New Mary Jane?
5.Revolution (Take 20)
6.Moonlight Bay
Let's add some solo work to fill up the album
7.Woman Is The (Redacted) Of The World
8-11.Highlights from Two Virgins, Life With The Lions, The Wedding Album And Liverpool Sound Collage.
12.The ending track is snippets from The Bigger Than Jesus Controversy.
13.A hidden track, Paul saying his favourite story, how he created Let It Be.
The Worst Of The Beatles

Within You Without You - a real snoozer that seems longer than Revolution 9
Dizzy Miss Lizzy - this take has so many errors in the lead guitar part that I'm surprised it got approval. The live version on Hollywood Bowl is so much better and one of my favorite Beatle tracks ever

Forgot Within You Without You, they should of used Only A Northern Song instead for Pepper. As for Dizzy Miss Lizzy, to me it was OK.RAJ wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 12:24 pm Within You Without You - a real snoozer that seems longer than Revolution 9

Just Maxwell for me, vaudeville is often used as it defence but Macca was way off when he came up with that one.
As for Revolution (Take 20) are you yet to hear Lord Reiths version on Evolver? Superb.

Re: The Worst Of The Beatles
My brother once told me that when the Rolling Stones made a bad track it was disgustingly bad, but when the Beatles made a bad track it was still somehow good.
My opinions are my own, but, my dog tends to agree with everything I say.
