Maybe that could be done on "The Night Before" BBC The Beatles Invite You To Take A Ticket To Ride show. I know the intro to the song has voiceover introducing the song.

Re: Unwanted vocal intro removal
I had some try outs with X-Minus Pro on some Syd Barrett Pink Floyd tracks. Surprisingly good results! I did all of Piper, the singles and some less than stellar quality mono BBC tracks. I managed to get some great instrumentals, especially of those BBC tracks. The best thing is that I uncovered the 1st 15 second intro of 'Set The Controls' which has a DJ talking over it, so you couldn't really hear it before.

Again, my question is, "why"? Too cool as it is.

The broadcasts are perfect as they are. As they were heard,

The spoken intro for "The Night Before" is pretty intrusive and I, for one, would like a version without it.thewarpedvinyljunkie wrote: ↑Thu Jun 02, 2022 6:02 am Again, my question is, "why"? Too cool as it is.

Just because it was "never heard" doesn't mean it's not interesting to actually be able to hear it!

I agree and actually, Please Leave My Kitten Alone for example was unheard and meant to be unheard. Should we not have heard that then?MarkRJones1970 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 02, 2022 10:26 am Just because it was "never heard" doesn't mean it's not interesting to actually be able to hear it!

I may have overstated my case. Sure, it's fascinating to hear the music without the intrusions. But I'm guessing it's my predilection for historicity that makes me prefer the recordings as they were originally made available to the public. Please don't take my comments as applicable to anyone's ears but my own.
