The same date is now on the Amazon UK site for the Blu-ray. Also, people who have pre-ordered have been receiving e-mails from Amazon informing them that they will be receiving the product in early January. Perhaps they are really adding the bonus material or extended cut we have been requesting?

Rumours are the original date has been scrapped due to the discs having a technical glitch with the audio and all physical discs are been recalled.

I am always completely amazed and baffled at the way millions of copies of a cd or dvd are pressed and distributed without anyone giving the thing a proper watch or listen to make sure it's okay. How hard can it be to give copies to five different people, and pay them a day's pay to go over it and check for faults? Like they probably wouldn't do it for nothing anyway?

We're in Florida. My wife said that if you go to the page for "Get Back" it's still unavailable. But we got the official e-mail. It must be for real. I think the difference may be that we were on the pre-order list, and maybe those people get theirs first.
