I don't know about Mac
but for Windows (and it must be the same)
you don't have to convert .wav files to create a dvd-audio
you juste have to use them as they are

If you really want to author what you write, a DVD-A (not to be confused with the LPCM, DTS, MPEG-1 Audio Layer II or AC-3 audio stream of a conventional DVD-Video), you need an authoring application with a suited LPCM / MLP audio encoder. You can find a list of relevant products / projects on macOS here.Hannibal Starr wrote: ↑Mon Feb 07, 2022 5:48 pm Hi There

The most pragmatic approach is probably to use the free and open-source DVD audio Tools. I'd assume they nowadays can be installed through a Homebrew formula on macOS and they're obviously also integrated in Burn. So in your case, Burn is probably the easiest way for you to author a DVD-A.
