The Beatles in the context of Merseybeat Tracks #12-#14

Continuing The Dominoes very late '57/early '58 session.

This first track is, astonishingly, an original. Our first Merseybeat home-brewed song, written and sung by the band's guitarist, Charlie Flynn. If you're only going to play one track from these sessions, pick this one.

Baby (original) - it's the first track at this link (the second track on the youtube is a later recording. Only the later recording is on Spotify):

Or if that doesn't work for you, it's on my soundcloud:

And there are two instrumentals, led by Charlie.

Guitar Boogie

Autumn Leaves

What do you think? Better than the tracks where Arthur takes the lead? What do you think of the first recording of the first home-grown Merseybeat song?

Thank you for even tolerating my gibberish. Despite my own sentiments, I would never try to cast aspersions on anyone's expressive attempts to bring appreciation to anything. You are kicking some serious ass here to bring a truly valid prism to the spectrum of the Beatles' own magnificence. I do love this forum. This is the richest loam for a photosynthetic bumper crop of Beatles 'ROOTS'. Isolation was necessary to truly bring a guiding direction to such improbable odds that they knew where they were from. And if Sacrifice can be part of any romantic struggle to the toppermost, then, they already knew where they could be local yokels forever. Most will find that preferable to the sacrifice that goes with any risk of a potential realized. Liverpool can be proud of their 'kids'. To dwell in the past, may rob the present. To ignore the past WILL rob the future. The roses at Dianna Rigg's house look like roses...until she stands next to them. The Beatles knew of their own roots. They also knew that Liverpool's roots were no different. Welcome to sacrifice. Goodbye Cavern.
I'm glad that we all agree...on the color green.
It is the color of photosynthesis...(Oxygen).
If I just say 'Thank you for the Mersey Beatles', it wouldn't sound right.
And roses would never look like Dianna Rigg.
Can you say Lotus...(Elan)?
She drives me...
to isolation.
Thank you for the beautiful 'side' of Mercy!

Thank for the history lessons, Asclepius!
Is it possible to enable downloads from your Soundcloud? I'd like to collect these recordings for future reference.
