This is the best possible news!!

AdamBound, I also think a reconstruction of the US visit would be great to see. And it seems to me it might be easier than some of the previous projects you've shared with us. I hope to go watch the new documentary at my daughter's house this afternoon. Is there new footage to watch out for?

There's definitely some new footage we've never seen before in it. Not THAT much though

the truth is that they don't make this kind of doco for the diehard fans.
they make it to gain new fans so they sell more albums or trick folks that aren't quick on the uptake into triple or quadruple dipping when they "re-release" things like the US albums.
I'm glad stuff like this comes out so more people get into the beatles that might not have known much about the beatles.
I mean in 2015 kanye "discovered" paul mccartney.
and his fans were like "who is paul mccartney?"
that is the reality we live in.
there will always be people listening to their personal music bubble and sometimes a doco like this or a kanye comes along to introduce things to new fans.
but I do wish someone would undiscover kanye

remember when you were in The Beatles? and the song goes, “And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make”? You.. you remember that?
Yes.
Uh.. is that true?
Yes, Chris. In my experience I find, the more you give, the more you get.

Just finished watching, it way more boring than I expected. Not bad at all but rather something as part of a series on the Beatles history, it’s just weird to single this part out as it’s not particularly interesting. It was nice to see how well the Anthology interviews looked in HD, that seems promising for its remaster project.

Especially when you figure they found 20+ hours of new footage

it bothers me that the first clip of press conference where the guy is saying can we please have quiet is obviously a video ripped from youtube

Finished watching a minute or so ago.
it was decent but the editing was not great.
The paris interview should have been at the beginning....the guy that worked with john after being deported had nothing really to do with the whole 64 story...it was a let down with a few good moments.

Grabbed it, not watched it. Not going to either, seems to be a lot of pointless stuff in it. As AndrewDixon said on his channel, you get about 1 minute of actual Beatles out of 18 in parts of it.
