I have a UK copy of Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth) which has a greyed out a-side.
Initially I thought it might be sunlight faded, but.....to test the theory I placed a duplicate copy of a similar labelled 45 on my shed roof for about 3 months in the summer...not even close....so I'm thinking it's a printing error.
Also I saw a copy of Imagine hanging in a record shop door that was sun faded...and that had a blueish hew, I offered to buy it but it wasn't for sale!

I also have a lot odd vinyls from the 60/70s.

One i have misslaid is a bootleg of Shea Stadium in green vinyl on two EPs playing at 33 rpm.

Here's my single, with a standard copy for comparison. Note the errored copy still has colour to the apple stem, but none anywhere else...the b-side is perfect.

I love collecting misprints and errors, my favourites being blank apple labels....no text whatsoever.

I always read Record Collector, it's the best music mag in the UK. Some may remember that Record Collector was launched and incorporated into the reprinted 'Beatles Monthly' series of the late 70's/early 80's. For a year or so the two were combined into one mag until Record Collector was popular enough to go it alone.
