This was done just for kicks. It utilizes a free online demixing algorithm. I've never attempted anything like this. And as it's meant as a joke, I rushed through it. So it sounds like shit. But the gist of the joke is there straight away. I'd listen to only the first verse, joke delivered. Point made. If you listened through to the end, there will follow a link to several regional counseling services which may assist in getting folks past the trauma. And as always, before you decide to call it quits, please call a friend. It may make the world of difference.

Jonh Lennon one to One documentary film
Re: Jonh Lennon one to One documentary film
Looks like the film will be a theatrical release after the US election and not before.
Even though Sean and Yoko doesnt appear in the film for interviews. it will be an interesting release

The Hollywood Reporter reviewer loved it!

The bond between John Lennon and Yoko Ono, mutually inspired artists from very different worlds, is only one of the love stories at the core of director Kevin Macdonald’s vibrant and stirring new documentary. Tracing an eventful year, One to One: John & Yoko is, first and foremost, a portrait of the couple’s love affair with New York City, their newly adopted home. In its mix of remarkable archival material, the film is both tender and galvanizing, summoning up what New York felt like in 1972 (yes, I would know) and offering a fresh slant on a country’s upheaval and a generation’s countercultural awakening.

Re: Jonh Lennon one to One documentary film
I can remember how upset I was when I bought the vhs in 1985. I had seen bits of One To One and it sounded fantastic. I didn't realise there had been two shows and that I was familiar with the evening show, and the afternoon show on the vhs sounded absolutely terrible. That's back when vhs tapes were insanely expensive, and I was not amused that I had wasted my money on it. Here's hoping this new version is better.

I don't remember pre-recorded vhs tapes being that expensive in the UK in 85. At that time i was unemployed, and i know i bought it.
If i remember correctly, they were a similar price to an album here then. One vhs that i did not get ...because of the price was the Wings Rockshow tape....now that WAS very expensive...i rented a copy and used a friends vhs to copy it!
