Being old school I do like to have titles with artwork and would like to create some for my projects..
So I was just wondering what software people have used to create DVD artwork or indeed CD artwork. I'm aware of Photoshop (although I don't have that software). Would that come with a template for example .? Other than Photoshop, are there any decent easy to use examples of software that you use that I could find..??

You could try GIMP, it's free software and there are plenty of tutorials on youtube to give you tips.
Hope this helps.

Re: DVD Artwork Creator Software
gimp is basically older photoshop but free.
used it a lot before i bit the bullet and got photoshop.
there is also canva (online), nero cover designer, and various other cd/dvd label maker software out there.
There are templates for programs like word or google docs.
Also, Avery makes a printable case insert with available templates.

remember when you were in The Beatles? and the song goes, “And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make”? You.. you remember that?
Yes.
Uh.. is that true?
Yes, Chris. In my experience I find, the more you give, the more you get.

Re: DVD Artwork Creator Software
It all boils down to what you want it for. If your just doing artwork for yourself stick with Gimp. Photoshop is now subscription and not worth it unless your doing lots of work. Some people borrow older photoshop versions to use and there are older photshop versions on sale on a certain 2nd hand web site but you would need to know if it compatable with the system your using (Mac Windows).plasticsoul wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2024 3:55 pmThank you. Photoshop is very easy to 'get' without a subscription, It cuts you off from using some of the online a.i features, but other then that, its photoshop.

Re: DVD Artwork Creator Software
Thanks again. Just mainly for DVD and CD artwork. Nothing too elaborate, but not too basic either.. So it looks like I've at least made an effort !!Amoos Bouche wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2024 4:58 pmIt all boils down to what you want it for. If your just doing artwork for yourself stick with Gimp.
