He still works for the Lennons, they view him as a trusted friend so he must be okay. You couldn't fool a family for 50 years.

People who present to tv or radio have great difficulty stepping out of character. So they can seem very arrogant or patronising but it's just the voice. I think he's basically an okay guy, bizarre fake tan aside.

EM baffled me as a youngster via his Ch.52 UHF TV show, "Headshop." Then he annoyed me as an adult by interrupting an interview with one of his clients so many times that said client ultimately gave him the side-eye, took out a card, wrote their home phone # on it and said, "Call me in a couple days and we can finish our conversation without all the interruptions." E did seem loyal, though. As a barnacle.

He did a major face plant in the "Imagine John Lennon" movie when he spoke about May Pang. He criticized her for her book "Loving John" which as history has shown us, was almost 100% correct.
