Or the censored Brazilian one!Kwai Chang wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 8:11 pmNow, all we need is the heavily censored Australian version...
and the 'waxed McCartney' version(U.K. only? U.S. only?). The bathtub(upper left) is likely to be the same roll as the naked shot and although there is one more from session, the bathroom appears in a later vintage from a photo included in Linda's Pictures(1978). That picture confirms that the mirror was the target with bathtub shot being the exception.
Was the poster available on Capitol's dbl. reel version of the white album? If so, check and see if the lyrics were censored on song-lyrics backside of poster. The songs were censored to remove Paul is Dead clues found on Don't Pass Me By, Glass onion, Can You Take Me Back, et cetera. The Black album poster was a beautiful way to procure the text found only in the GetBack book from UK box set(LIB). I'm sure that the only way to get the free poster was to buy the 3-LPs that were in the same package. That was a huge improvement over the posterless Sweet Apple Trax(50% to be exact).
Does it ever end?
And the Naked J+Y pics(bed. caricature line drawing were direct Two Version cross promos!
