This is an odd one I can't figure out. I've been using Nero Video for years, and it always has it's share of anomalies. This is an odd one.
If I take a TS file, or a PAL format disc, and use Nero Video to create chapters and burn to NTSC, everything works, no problem.
If I take an NTSC DVD that has 5 minute chapters, I'll load the VOB files into Nero Video (like I do with PAL files) and mark the chapters properly.
I'll burn the video folder to a hard drive and play it back, and the audio and video are way out of sync.
WHY ?
It doesn't happen when I convert PAL to NTSC (and create new chapters in the process), and it doesn't happen with raw TS files (and I create chapters for those)
Why do I only have sync issues with NTSC files ? I've tried using the VOB files from the NTSC source. I've tried using other packages to rip the source to MKV, MP4, and AVI. And every time I burn the folder using Nero Video, the audio and video are way out of sync.
I'm out of ideas.
