The John Lennon Project (Website) - Update 1

Post by Golem »

I started this project about a year ago, but kinda gave up in the early phases of it, I finally got the motivation to start working on it again, and made this site! It's going to be a catalogue for all the John sessions, albums, concerts, and more. It's heavily inspired by a Paul website by the same name (https://www.the-paulmccartney-project.com).

Anyway, here's the site as it is now! As of now it's pretty much just the One to One concert. I'm going to be using this thread to talk about updates, so I'll let you guys know once I post the first major update.

Update 1 12/2/23: Finally finished all the live content!

sorry for the long break guys, I've had a busy year and have been sidetracked by a few other projects, but I'm finally working on this again and almost ready to update the site!

I just have one question to see what you guys think. So I've been really mulling over including "Instant Karma" TOTP (and to a lesser extent to Old Grey Whistle) to live. I mean they were sorta "live", and in concept they're pretty similar to Rock and Roll Circus, but I suppose that one did actually have an audience. Anyway, what do you guys think, should I include it, or should I not?

I vote yes, include it as live. I understand they were miming, but it's a stage appearance in front of an audience, so that's live for me.

Realize, please, that ALL recordings are done live!
Shenanigans and miming are NOT! They are always out of synch somehow!
(Fake tambourine is anybody's guess)
LIVE needs a new definition!
KC

Edit: Leave the Union out of it and either mime to the commercial or sing it again! BUT not both!
