In 1994, a record was put out independently on the Vital Music label in the US, called Dumbrock Vol. 5. Side 2 was The Who's "Tommy" with each section performed by a different band, the whole affair condensed into six minutes. Side 1 is a cover of "You Know My Name" by four different groups. Part 1 is by Fly Ashtray, part 2 is by Rats Of Unusual Size, part 3 is by Youth Gone Mad and part 4 is by Sea Monkeys (with Brian Jones' sax part played on clarinet). I don't think I was ready for it. Maybe you aren't, either.
