AI Drum Separation: Drumsep

Post by blackbird »

This tool can separate Snare, Kick, Cymbal from drum stems.

but I got input error, I don't have any clue that.
Does anyone know how solve that error?

So it's kind of a Mini-MAL?

I'm not sure, but you can hear sample here.

however I don't know how to use that.

The best way to find out is to post a question on that github thread.

You need to copy and paste the error message so they know what the problem is.

After some trial and error I did get it working, but it's pretty tough to install since it requests strange versions of dependencies. :?

I gotta say I did not like the pulled-apart drums on Revolver. Drums, like pianos, should always be near-mono as that's how they are heard in their natural state. The only way you can hear a drum kit in stereo in real life is to crouch down on the floor at the drummer's feet with your head level with his crotch... not the most ideal listening position!

I really love pulled-apart drums but agree they're not especially realistic.

It could be useful if the drums are poorly balanced. The Beatles drums usually sounded great though.
