Re: dsf to flac
I've never seen DSF format, so I can't say if To FLAC will accept them
Give it a try, it's a very good free app https://amvidia.com/to-flac-converter

I'm pretty sure Foobar2000 has an add on for it. Once you get that then you can convert the files to whatever

Hello. I'm use dBpoweramp Music Converter, for me it works very well: https://www.dbpoweramp.com/
If you have music ripped of a sacd, you can use foobar 2000 for listen dsd o dsf files. You can dowload the plugin: https://sourceforge.net/projects/sacddecoder/
And also other music players like Monkey Audio, plays dsf files on your pc, tablet etc...

I'm with Pattie. dBpoweramp is great...the "Swiss Army Knife," of music converters, as it calls itself, indeed.
ToFLAC does not list DSD/DSF as an input; it's a Mac-only program. And unfortunately, there's not a simple DSD/DSF to FLAC (while remaining lossless) that I know of (not that I know everything) in the Windows world, anyway. I do remember, however, that foobar's conversion codices (sorry, that's actually the plural of codex, so I couldn't resist) does NOT remain lossless (it gives you that warning every time you try, or at least my copy does). However, if you're converting for your own listening purposes, it does an excellent job with (to my ears) almost no noticeable loss; I've done several Guess Who DSDs to FLAC and they sound great, although they are technically not lossless.
