Best Youtube converter/downloader "A must have question"

What is the best YOUTUBE converter to .VOB, .MP4, etc
Or what is the best YOUTUBE downloader in the original resolution

The best YouTube downloaders I've seen are YouTube-dl and 4KVideoDownloader, they have options to download videos in .mp4 and .mkv (there aren't any .VOB download options, that's a very outdated video file type that uses MPG2).

There isn't any way to download YouTube videos with the full original technical specifications other than resolution. For example, I can upload a video with a 20mbs bitrate but if you download it using an application, you'll get a file with a 7mbs or so (the same goes for audio).

In another hand, I edited the full original technical atributes in the first post, I only left the resolution. Thanks for the clarification.

I usually use 4kvideodownloader myself but I decided to look this one up. Apparently I can only find a copy for the Android but not for home PC.

I use youtube-dl when just grabbing audio or 4K Downloader for video.
