...and now listened to the second.
Have to say the Shure sounds to me more authentic to how I would expect a 60s mono 45 of this to sound. The other isn't necessarily worse/bad just different...
What cartridge and stylus did you use on your rip of SMO 2051/52? I assume the rest of the lineage would be the same...? I can't listen as missed the download window so can I request a re-up please.
Thanks,
Ian.
Thanks for the feedback Ian, I think it's with the shure, but one is with izotope and the other without, as I don't keep my rips (except singles) I don't know which one is in Yves' link
Edit: it sounds very clean a bit muffled? so it's the one with Izotope

Probably Isotope, files are dated March 11 16:45
yes I'm going to do it again without, a recording with the minimum of effects, the simpler the better I think, it's too complicated for me all this software and I found that it changes the sound ( ex the applause at the beginning on obladi oblada or bungalow bill) maybe I don't know how to use it well, click repair seems to me better or manually with audacity

My feedback was about the Odeon – O 22 396 rips not SMO 2051/52.
And then I was also inquiring about your lineage for SMO 2051/52.
Hi, I have just finished a new transfer, this time an Italian pressing
Title : Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Country : Italy
Label : Parlophone – 3C 064-04177
Audio : Stereo
Released : 80's
Matrix : 041177-A- 2-12-80 III - 041177-A- 2-12-80 I

Thanks Btl1210 , I'm redo the original French White Album one last time, I don't like this automatic declicking system which change the sound (for me), I hope to finish it tomorrow (Saturday)
