I would like to know if some member here at Beatlegdb Forum have a short video of Twiggy listening Puttin' On The Style at Abbey Road Studio.

Now I have more info, the video is from BBC special People's History Of Pop S01 - Ep01 The Birth of the Fan.

My laptop crashed and I can´t find this video anywhere.

It seems quite calculated which bits we've been allowed to hear. Never a full verse or full chorus so that nobody can have an attempt at Frankensteining together a listenable version. Audio restoration techniques have improved considerably since they were rejected from Anthology, so surely we should be allowed to hear them by now!

I notice someone commented that Purple Chick had done it too on Strong Before Our Birth. This is a different animal though. Both have their merits.

This is a frankenstein attempt to reconstruct a full song. Ceases to be 'canon' in my opinion but well worth doing if done well.

PC collected together all available (at that time) not talked over bits and made the shorter clips into one longer but still incomplete track. Keeps to 'officially released 'not talked over' bits so remains 'canon'.

Downloading the frankenstein again now to remind me how good the job was...thanks Megazeti...and _what_the_fuh_ if you are still about.
