sadly audio asylum is not correct on the cassette release dates,
Beatles price guide is more accurate, as is my memory , as I was the mfsl australian distributior from 1985 to about 2000
Magical mystery tour cassette 1980/81 using the uk tracks for the last three songs only and capitol for the rest(the mfsl is fake stereo on last three)
rubber soul lp and cassette june 1984
sgt pepper both seperate lp and cassette was late 1985
followed by Help! then revolver,1986/87

the only thing Beatles that came out in 1982 was the MFSL box set of lp's

thank you ..well I lived through it!
all lp's from the master tapes
all cassettes from digital dubs of the master tapes that MFSL did
box set and UHQR of sgt pepper does not have the inner groove.. but seperate lp and cassette does.

The next best alternative would be to get a 1973 Japan-released cassette of the U.K. version. All the (vintage) Japan Beatles stuff was manufactured by Toshiba and, even though 1973 would not have been "state-of-the-art" in cassette technology (as reel to reel and 8-track cartridge still dominated tape then), Japan Beatles' tapes used TDK formula which was ahead of its time in sound quality (even WITHOUT DOLBY).

Obviously, it's safe to say: these were analog duplicated throughout the entire chain.
