Re: Shea Stadium 1966 audio/video.

We know Apple released in the theatre the Complete Shea stadium footage from 1965,

Is there any complete audio of the 1966 show.????
I know Adam has put a video out on you tube.

Concidering that the 1965 show was huge deal.... There seems to be little or no material on the Beatles 1966 concerts from North America except
Germany and Japan footage

if so - what is available ????

Unfortunately, there's no complete audio of 1966 Shea show. Only small snippets full of screams.

What I posted to YouTube is essentially all of the footage that has come to surface. With audio there’s a little bit; the intro MC’s announcing the band, part of tock and roll music, and a few fan interviews during the show which include some concert audio.

People have to check their attics and find those homemade recordings that were done at that show. They have to exist…

I always hope that someday we'll see more 8mm films of Shea 65. I know a 66 one surfaced on Ebay a couple weeks back, but it appears to have ended up in the hands of a hoarder.

I think almost the entire show exists on film, but on many different reels owned by different people, some of it privately held.

Of course, nearly all the audio is available in pretty good quality thanks to Purple Chick.
