Is there a more user-friendly version of Spleeter yet? Just looked at their site, and my guess is no. But you tell me.

Ah: yours is Windows only.

But: I found a Mac one that seems to work pretty well:

Thanks anyway!

I'm gonna split for now (ha!)

Thanks for the heads-up on MySpleeter for Mac! I like the idea of a local splitter (as opposed to online, though back-end processing has its advantages of course).

There is also Stems from Sunflower Software for Mac.

There is also DeepRemix, a very complete tool available for a one month trial. It performs the separation offline. Your computer must therefore be efficient enough.
It has a lot of other tools to improve the quality.

There are so many of these now it's bewildering. Even Facebook has one! I tried it and it is complete crap... but what else would you expect. :P

This sounds good tilman.

If any others have installed SpleeterGUI from Makenweb, did you have the same "easy to install and to handle" experience as tilman and what are the results you got with it like?

AVXcheck utility tells me that my computer should be able to handle the program but at this stage I'm reluctant to download the program until I hear more about the experiences others have had with it.

Rusty,

The SpleeterGUI has worked great for me & installs easily but the new Open-Unmix UMX is giving me higher quality stem separations than it & all others I have tried so far but rather hard to install. I asked the maker of the SpleeterGUI to consider a GUI for it so will see if he will do one & post it here if he does.
