Stereo Classics' Beatles Mixes (Lovely Rita)

Hey everyone!

I just recently got some new equipment (new laptop, headphone amp, living room stereo and a pair of studio monitors) so I'm going to be posting mixes again.

I haven't mixed in a while, but I have been itching to do some Beatles mixes with the new Revolver boxset.

To start it all off, here is a brand new stereo mix of TAXMAN!

This uses the original stereo mix (from the Disque Americ CD) and the newly released Take 11 from the boxset. I had to use the cold ending as it was too tricky to use the album ending.

Lovely mix. It sounds like a combination of Take 11 (from the box-set) and the 2022 remix. If anybody is bothered by the artifacts that are present in the Giles’ mix then this is the remix for you.
