Re: VET SOUNDS
Thankyou for the VET SOUNDS EP.
Well, I've got a question concerning I Am The Walrus:
At a first listen, it sounds like the American single - in S T E R E O. Great!
But what do you mean by "Das Kapitol mix"? Is it Marx' "Das Kapital"? (and therefore only a typical bootleg typo? )
Please let me know. Otherwise I don't know how to interpret this track

Re: VET SOUNDS
They shoot electric sugar cubes don't they?
I'm always happy to hear Baby You're A Rich Man become more and more intimate. It sounds very nice. What is the 2nd instrument at the beginning? That and the guitars are liberated here! I Am The Walrus sounds noticeably pristine as well. With no attempt to hear ANYTHING, those two tracks called out to me! Since I've been a Beatles fan, I've never heard the music like that. Indeed I was floating on a cloud of Psilocybin, the last time I heard the songs sound that good. Is it possible that Lord Reith was running an errand for Robert Johnson down to the crossroads to get that kind of haunted space between instruments? Can't you hear that wha-wha-wind howwwwwl? That wasn't the wind. It was a wolf in a Lord Reith wig walking through the streets of Soho in the rain. He was looking for a place called Chinese Menu with a Beatles EP in his hands for to get a big dish of wig Brylcreem.
Aah-oooooooooo! Lord Reith on EP! Aah-oooooooooooooo!

Yes, more good fun!stereoman33 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 1:19 pm Thank you for this,
especially for finally doing a stereo mix of the USA single mix of "I am the walrus".
However. I have no idea what is so special about the other songs.
I already have abracadabra and I can't work out what is different about the other 3 songs
Please tell me
cheers
As for differences from Abracadaba 2021, if you pull each song up in waveform one by one and line them up side by side, you can see (and hear) little bits of difference: some panning here, some volume there. And Baby You're A Rich Man doesn't seem to be on that earlier set.
This brings up a question I wanted to ask LR:
Which of your earlier work(s) would you consider "replaceable" at this point? I know your technique gets better and better. And I like to think the tidiness of my collection gets better and better too
