Re: Test d'isolement du piano - Quelques remixes avec voix - Piano uniquement
Thank you very much. Could you try with "(Just Like) Starting Over" ?Sologui wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 10:33 am Many thanks all friends
An unexpected and just great result for Mind Games. Piano isolation is amazing (No artifacts on the piano)Rupert Pupkin wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 5:23 am wow! this is superb. Generally voices are altered by audio artefacts, but I'm currently listening to Some People Never Know Vocals & Piano Onl (not with headphones); I can only notice a slight artefacts of the guitar during the bridge. "Gimme Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)" is superb.
Did you clean up the track ?
Would you try "Mind Games" or "Out Of The Blue", "Watching The Weels" or "Whatever Gets You Thru The Night" ?
I added a slight reverb effect on the piano to give it more volume... Well, I find it better that way
Judge by yourself
Here is the Instrumental, Vocals - Piano AND Piano Only version :

I continue mixing with your other wishes Rupert Pupkin ...Very soon
"Out Of The Blue" from the Vigotone set "Absolute Elsewhere" could be a good source (there is one mix with just piano; one other with piano and organ) and extra coda because there is no phasing effect on John's voice contrary to the official album.
and (you can tell it using OOPS) the infamous 200x remixing CD of "Mind Games" with bonus tracks (the album was remixed) can give you some different results than the later remaster (like the signature box set of first CDs).

Re: Piano Isolation test - NEW "Mind Games" & "Golden Slumbers" Mixes
is it Nicky Hopkins on Give Me Love/Give Me Peace On Earth ? (this reminds me what Nicky did for "You Are So Beautiful To Me" (Joe Cocker version)
this track with piano and George's voice just give me the chills. Superb.
I can see 2 songs by George Harrison which could have some massive emotional potential on piano :
- Bangla-Desh (the piano-lick has been borrowed by Michel Berger in the mid-seventies, he did a lot of hit piano for him and France Gall)
- That Is All - Harry Nilsson cover is superb; I would like to listen to the piano on George Harrison's original version. There is a rough early mix on a Masterfraction CD.
- Whatever Gets You Thru The Night just to hear if the piano boogie by Elton John can be isolated with John's voice. Perhaps a Legend stereo mix down 5.1 or a specific channel could help to isolate the piano; or the complete full take on His Master's Choice or Pure Lennon (Pear Records)

Sologui,
Nice stereo versions.
You can grab the stem separations of the Piano & Strings by DeMix Pro 4 Beta which I am testing for them at hxxps://we.tl/t-xUZ3isCRDu with PW of 092849 for comparison.

Hello Mixerrog
Thank you for your files, it allows us to compare.
I'm a little disappointed with the result you get with "Mind Games" on Demix Pro. It sounds much better with Gaudio.
Interesting on the other hand the isolation of the strings
To see and test on many songs.

New test on "For No One" (Take 1)
I was able to isolate the keyboards easily.
I was then able to isolate the piano and the harpsichord on logic pro.

My files are by default in AIF 16/44 format (To transfer them more easily then to my Apple Music account)
Tell me if you prefer another type of audio file
I remind you that the separate files under Gaudio are obtained in mp3 320 format
